There are many ways to place a new order in the MT4 terminal:<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the \u2018New Order\u2019 button on the toolbar<\/li>\n
  2. Select \u2018New Order\u2019 from the \u2018Tools\u2019 drop-down menu<\/li>\n
  3. Press F9<\/li>\n
  4. Right-click an instrument in the \u2018Market Watch\u2019 window and select \u2018New Order\u2019<\/li>\n
  5. Double-click an instrument in the \u2018Market Watch\u2019 window<\/li>\n
  6. Enable one-click trading<\/li>\n
  7. Proceeding with any of the above options will open up the “Order”<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This will let you adjust the parameters of the position you are about to open.<\/p>\n

    The “Symbol”<\/strong> field allows you to change the instrument and the “Volume”<\/strong> field allows you to set the size of the trade (lot). You may also set stop-loss and take-profit levels.<\/p>\n
