position will appear in the Positions<\/b> panel at the bottom of the platform.<\/p>\n Pending Orders<\/b><\/p>\n A Pending Order<\/b> allows you to open a trade automatically when price reaches a specified level.<\/p>\n Steps<\/b><\/p>\n Pending Order Types (Important)<\/b><\/p>\n In orTrader, the order type is selected automatically<\/b> based on:<\/p>\n Depending on your selection, the bottom action button will change to one of the following:<\/p>\n This ensures the correct pending order type is applied automatically.<\/p>\n Setting Take Profit (TP)<\/b> and Stop Loss (SL)<\/b> helps you manage risk and automatically close your trade at predefined price levels.<\/p>\n Follow the steps below to add or update TP\/SL on an already open trade<\/b>.<\/p>\n On an Existing Trade<\/b><\/p>\n Once applied, your TP and SL levels<\/b> will appear on the chart and in the Positions<\/b> panel, allowing you to easily monitor your risk and target levels.<\/p>\n Tip: <\/b>Take Profit must be set away from the current market price by the minimum required distance (depends on instrument and broker).<\/p>\n There is one way<\/b> to close an open trade on the orTrader platform.<\/p>\n Close from the Positions Panel<\/b><\/p>\n 1.Go to the Positions<\/b> panel at the bottom of the platform<\/p>\n 2.Locate the open trade<\/b> you wish to close<\/p>\n 3.Click the \u2715 (Close Order)<\/b> button at the end of the position row<\/p>\n The trade will close immediately at the current market price<\/b>.<\/p>\n Once closed, the position will be removed from the Positions<\/b> panel and appear in the History<\/b> tab.<\/p>\n The order could not be placed at the requested conditions.<\/p>\n Possible reasons:<\/b><\/p>\n Price changed before execution<\/p>\n
